Helen Nottage’s sculptural works play with the notion of fragility, decay and beauty, of both the human body and spirit. This discourse is reflected within the delicate surfaces of her figures, which reveal a huge variety of organic textures and colours, and upon closer inspection, intricately embedded symbols.
