Polly Tyrer talks about her recent experience buying art for her home.
“I have a home on the beach with a rugged view of the sea and Shoreham Harbour. It’s very open plan and airy. For the last four or five years I have been looking for a piece of art for a large wall that faces the view. It needed to absorb me and be big and interesting enough to fill the space. I wanted it to speak of the view but not compete with it. David Hayward’s work, inspired by shorelines, sung out to me from the minute I saw it on Kellie’s web site. In reality the colours and textures looked even better and on my walls they are exactly what I was looking for. So much so I now have not one piece but two”.
I’m delighted when a client finds artwork they love from my collections, which are especially selected for you.
