Artist of the Month
JONATHAN SMITH
Croft by the Shore by Jonathan Smith
Scottish painter Jonathan Smith is a masterful artist for understanding the complexity of light and interpreting the majesty of the natural landscape. His palette and use of brushstrokes is bold and cleverly applied so as to capture a sense of the place without taking away the magic of its atmosphere.
As Artist of the Month for June, his latest body of work centres on dramatic coastal scenes from the Hebrides down to Sussex, with scattered views of the South Downs.
New Collection
KLAUS RIECK
Roloo by Klaus Rieck
An intuitive stone and bronze sculptor, Klaus' process takes time and is drawn from a wide pool of inspirations. His method is organic and thoughtful, revealing forms hewn in solid rock or bronze that invite you to experience them with all of your senses.
Elegant and dynamic, this much-anticipated collection demonstrates Klaus’ mastery of traditional sculpture mediums. The contrast between the polished and unpolished bronze in Roloo highlights the fluidity of the form, while Flowe, the largest piece in the collection, seems to gracefully rise out of the marble it is carved from.

OPEN 28TH JUNE - 18TH AUGUST
Love After Love by Steve Fricker
This Summer, KMA Gallery invites you to experience the surreal world of painter Steve Fricker with a solo show entitled States of Being.
Through this body of work, Steve continues to explore the primal need for myth, habit and ritual in order to function and rationalise our existence. States of Being is a mediation on our existence as humans and the varying guises under which we each appear.
